Brianna L. Kennedy-Lewis, an assistant professor in the School of Teaching and Learning and a school discipline researcher, wrote an open letter about how educators should “focus on students’ strengths and schools’ failures, rather than on schools’ strengths and students’ failures.” The letter was in response to a previous Gainesville Sun column by Greg Marshall.
