On-Campus Ph.D.
Doctorate Program
The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Science Education is a research-focused program for scholars and educators seeking to advance teaching and learning in formal and informal science education settings. Students work closely with faculty mentors, engage in graduate seminars, and develop original research that contributes to the field of science education.
Online Ed.S.
Specialist Program
The Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Science Education is an advanced program for experienced educators who want to deepen their expertise in science teaching, curriculum, and research. Designed for certified science teachers and professionals in related fields, the program offers flexible part-time or full-time study while supporting continued growth in science and environmental education.
Hybrid M.A.E.
Master’s Program
This master’s degree option can be completed either fully online or in a hybrid format and involves either a thesis or capstone project. The program is intended for individuals interested in building their expertise in science education as well as their capacity for contributing to the profession.
