A fully online graduate program for practicing teachers
Teach Well—the advanced program in special education—is a web-based degree program designed to prepare teachers to serve students with disabilities in inclusive settings. No on-campus meetings are required.
The courses provide a well-rounded program of study for anyone currently teaching students with disabilities or other learning differences. Participants obtain the knowledge and skills needed to be effective educators of all students— particularly those with special needs.
Ideal candidates for Teach Well are
(1) practicing teachers in special education seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in this area and
(2) practicing teachers in other areas such as elementary education or content area teachers at the middle or high school levels seeking knowledge and skills that will enhance their ability to serve all students within inclusive settings.
Designed primarily for part-time students, the Teach Well Online Academy can be completed in 2 years, with participants taking 2 courses per semester (including summers).

Our program provides an opportunity for in-service teachers to earn a Master’s (M.Ed.) Degree in Education through which they can enhance their knowledge and skills in the area of special education and increase their effectiveness in the classroom.
The Teach Well Online Education Specialist Degree is for students who have already completed a masters degree program in an appropriate area. This degree includes a project in addition to the coursework, as well as oral and written exit exams.
