The Center for School Improvement consists of a dynamic team of College of Education faculty/staff, graduate research assistants, and teachers, who are passionate about supporting educational practitioners throughout the State of Florida in their quest to improve their schools from within.

Graduate Research Assistants
CSI graduate students support the work of the center by attending and documenting workshops, completing literature searches for teachers and principals on the topics of their inquiries, and assisting faculty in research projects.

Inquiry Facilitators
In partnership with the Lastinger Center for Learning, the center is working with Duval County educators to coach teacher inquiry in high-need, high-poverty schools. The facilitators meet several times throughout the year to exchange insights and questions about coaching inquiry.

In partnership with the North East Florida Educational Consortium, the center is working with fourteen North Central Florida teachers from different districts to develop the finer points of coaching teacher inquiry in their own contexts. The facilitators meet several times throughout the year to exchange insights and questions into the facilitation of teacher inquiry.
