Application Instructions

Please be aware that all required application materials must be submitted and received by the posted application deadline. The requirements on this page pertain to the online educational leadership M.Ed.- systems leadership track.

Step 1: Submit your University of Florida Graduate School Application

Select online M.Ed. as your desired program
In the “Program Specialization” field, indicate “Systems Leadership Track”
A $30.00 (non-refundable) application fee is required. Credit card payments require an additional $7.00 processing fee
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
Statement of Purpose: This is your letter of intent. It should describe your interest in the program as well as your professional background, interests, and goals.
Transcripts sent to: University of Florida, Office of Admissions, PO Box 114000, Gainesville, FL 32611-4000

NOTE: Previously enrolled graduate students who have skipped two or more terms and are looking to return to the exact same program and degree level at which they previously attended should apply using the Returning Student Application.

Step 2: Supporting Application Material

Please upload the resume with your UF online graduate application under “Other Upload” in the Upload Resume section of the UF online application. Please combine all documents into one PDF document for upload if you cannot upload separate documents.

REQUIRED PROGRAM APPLICATION MATERIALS

1. Résumé – Pursuant to Florida Statute, your application requires inclusion of all post-high school education and employment, as well as information about ongoing international affiliations and research funding. Please ensure this information is included on your curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé.

Application Deadlines

All application materials for the online M.Ed. program must be received before February 15 (Summer semester start), June 15 (Fall semester start), or October 15 (Spring semester start)
Allow 2-4 weeks to gather all application materials, including official transcripts and letters of recommendation, as all materials are required for review and admission.
- International applicants should consider that the dates for M.Ed. applications may not allow enough time for processing of immigration requirements. It is strongly advised that international students apply at least 6 months before the date they intend to start the program.
