The Provost’s Office, Office of Research, and Center for Teaching Excellence are launching the Pathways to Excellence program, a 14-week experience designed to provide new faculty with a foundational understanding of the teaching and research landscapes at UF. Seven of the 14 weeks focus on developing evidence-based teaching practices, four weeks are research-focused, two weeks will navigate UF and professional trajectories, and the program will conclude with a celebratory session. Participants will graduate from the Pathways to Excellence program with improved teaching practices; fully developed strategies for building a sustainable and impactful research career; and knowledge of the UF, state, and federal funding landscapes.
