Federal regulations and guidance require that all PIs, Co-PIs, and key/senior research personnel listed on proposals for federal funding must complete Research Security training prior to proposal submission.
University of Florida researchers may now meet the training requirement by participating in a 30-minute refresher training via the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). With the addition of the new course, researchers may now take one of the following CITI courses:
- Research Security Training – 4 modules that take approximately 4 hours to complete OR
- Research Security Training (Combined) – 1 module that takes approximately 1 hour to complete OR
- Research Security Training (Combined) Refresher- 1 module that takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. You may take this annual course once you have completed either of the above options.
