The National Science Foundation (NSF) will hold an informational webinar at 4 PM EDT on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 about the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (NSF CAREER) program solicitation NSF 22-586. The webinar will focus on engineering education research-specific NSF CAREER proposals submitted to the Engineering Education Research program within the NSF Directorate for Engineering (NSF ENG). Proposals should examine educational research questions relating to the professional formation of engineers.
During the webinar, program officers from the ENG Engineering Education and Centers section will discuss key goals of the program and solicitation requirements as they relate to engineering education research and best practices, and they will host a question-and-answer session.
