UF Research’s Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) and Strategic Research Development (SRD) are developing a new protocol for identifying and coordinating limited submission funding opportunities. As part of this effort, faculty are encouraged to keep their Scholars@UF and ORCID profiles current and complete.
DSP and SRD will leverage information from these profiles to identify faculty whose expertise aligns with specific funding opportunities. For select high-impact opportunities, particularly those with short proposal timelines, DSP may proactively identify and contact potential PIs based on relevant expertise and research interests.
Faculty should regularly review their Scholars@UF and ORCID profiles to ensure that research areas, publications, projects, and other scholarly activities accurately reflect their current work. Maintaining up-to-date profiles will help UF Research identify and connect faculty with relevant funding opportunities as they arise.
