The University of Florida College of Education’s 2024 Annual Report from the Office of Educational Research highlights significant growth in research funding, collaboration, and faculty engagement. In FY 2024, faculty submitted 248 proposals requesting $267.2 million, securing 69 new awards totaling $34.6 million—over half of which were funded as subcontracts. The College now manages 200 active awards worth $628.6 million, with federal organizations accounting for over 21% of funding. Research expenditures reached $79.3 million, a 43% increase from FY 2023. Faculty achieved high funding rates—39.2% awarded immediately and 24.4% after additional deliberation—reflecting the competitiveness of submissions. The Research Rising! initiative expanded services to further boost innovation, collaboration, and impact across the College.
