UF International Center’s World Flags Display & International Programs Tables
- Time: 10:45AM
- Venue: Ada Dorfeld Plaza
Gather with College of Education staff and faculty at the Ada Dorfeld Plaza (outside of Opus Coffee) at 10:45 a.m. At 11 a.m. the group will walk over to the north lawn of the Reitz Union to the UFIC-sponsored IEW kickoff event of World Flags Display and International Programs Tables. If you cannot walk with the college group, the event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

IEW Button Making and Snack Break
- Time: 2:00 – 3:30PM
- Venue: EduGator Central Lobby
From 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. join the IEW committee in the lobby outside of the EduGator Central for a snack and a little IEW fun. We will have popcorn with eight different flavored seasonings to choose from. Get creative and make your own festive IEW button as well as take pictures in front of our new international-themed backdrop.

College of Education International Fair
- Time: 11:00AM – 2:00PM
- Venue: Ada Dorfeld Plaza
The College of Education-sponsored International Fair Day is back! We will have tabling by globally engaged UF departments and organizations, international-focused student groups and organizations, as well as UF and community resources. The fair will offer local tasting opportunities from a variety of global cuisines. There will be an interactive world map and photo opportunities in front of the international-themed backdrop. Special student organization-provided entertainment will be featured throughout the event. Join us in the Ada Dorfeld Plaza (outside of Opus Coffee) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dr. Tara Mathien will hold a virtual info session for the College of Education’s new Study Abroad Program, UF in Quito, Ecuador from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Scholarships available!

Travel Thursday: Student and Faculty Information Sessions
- Time: 1:30 – 3:00PM
- Venue: Rosenberg Historic Classroom (Room 2021, Norman Hall)
The college will host a UF International Center Meet & Greet in the Rosenberg Room (2021) from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come to learn more about the various units at the UFIC and talk with representatives from F-1 Student Services, Exchange Visitor Services, the Office of Global Learning and the Office for Global Research Engagement, and Fulbright. We will also have a variety of multicultural snacks for sampling. Bring your questions, your smiles, and your sweet tooth curiosity.

International Trivia Competition
- Time: 11:30 – 1:00PM
- Venue: Rosenberg Historic Classroom (Room 2021, Norman Hall)
The College of Education will host the annual UFIC-sponsored International Trivia Contest. Teams must pre-register however staff and faculty are invited to come out and watch. This competitive event is open to students, staff, and faculty and will take place in the Rosenberg Room (2021) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Let’s see what team will get a year of bragging rights to this long-standing IEW event.
