This program is ideal for future faculty members and policy-makers looking to engage in the scholarship and development of a research agenda.

Graduates of this program work in a variety of state policy, research, and faculty positions within state education agencies and postsecondary institutions throughout the United States and abroad.

This program is ideal for students interested in advancing their careers as higher education administrators in two- and four-year institutions.

Graduates of the Ed.D. program become leaders in administrative positions in higher education institutions and postsecondary focused non-profit organizations.

  • Entry: Spring semester of even years (i.e. 2024, 2026, etc.)
  • Typical course load: 6 credits/semester

Student Personnel in Higher Education

On-Campus M.Ed.

This program is ideal for students who wish to begin their careers in student affairs by immersing themselves into a combination of practical experience and learning in the classroom. Students learn from an esteemed network of faculty and professionals, while gaining experience through assistantships, practica, and internships.

Graduates of this program enter Student Affairs leadership positions in a variety of institutions of higher education.
