 Bachelor of Arts in Education Sciences

We offer several research methodology courses as part of the undergraduate Education Sciences major and particularly for its Educational Psychology and Research specialization. The Education Sciences program is intended to establish a foundation of knowledge about the different contexts of education, used as a launchpad to propel students into any direction in the field of education. The Educational Psychology and Research specialization within Education Sciences focuses in on the psychology of learning, conducting research and evaluation, and applying educational research.

  • EDF 3423– Educational Research Design- An introduction to designing quantitative and qualitative research studies
  • EDF 4430– Measurement and Evaluation in Education- An introduction to how to quantitatively measure variables
  • EDF 4440– Program Evaluation in Educational Settings- An introduction to program evaluation, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations
  • EDF 4470– Survey Research Methods in Education- An introduction to conducting research with surveys
