The UF online Ed.D. in educational technology takes a minimum of 3 years to complete. Students must complete a minimum of 90 hours beyond their bachelor’s degree to graduate with their doctoral degree. Students must complete 54 credits with the online cohort. To complete the degree, students are able to transfer credits earned as part of their master’s degree and take additional elective courses. They take 6 credits with their cohort each semester (Fall, Spring and Summer). These credits include online courses and seminars, as well as online synchronous sessions. Degree completion depends on the student’s ability to complete program requirements to a level commensurate with doctoral-level work.
