Features of the UF Master’s in Educational Technology Online

This program allows students the flexibility to complete their degree in just two years by taking two courses per session. However, you can tailor your schedule to match your preferred pace. This adaptable approach ensures that you can balance your academic commitments with other responsibilities effectively. Through online delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with peers from diverse backgrounds, fostering global connections and valuable networking opportunities that enrich your learning experience. Additionally, you can choose to pursue a graduate certificate alongside your degree, further enhancing your expertise in specialized areas of educational technology. 

As you near the culmination of your program, you’ll participate in EME 7938: Seminar in Educational Media, where you’ll undertake a project demonstrating technology’s impact on learning outcomes. Throughout this process, you’ll receive guidance and feedback from instructors and peers, culminating in an asynchronous online presentation that showcases your achievements and intellectual contributions to the field.

    Program Requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a degree deemed equivalent by the University of Florida Office of Admissions.
    • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 upper-division (last 60 credits) undergraduate work.
    • An acceptable grade point average for previous graduate work.
    • The GRE is not required for admittance to the online M.Ed. program.
