Programs

The School of Human Development and Organizational Studies in Education (HDOSE) at the University of Florida offers rigorous graduate programs designed to develop scholars, practitioners, and leaders who advance equity and excellence across education and human services. Through four distinct academic areas — Counselor Education, Educational Leadership and Policy, Higher Education, and Research and Evaluation Methodology. HDOSE prepares students to drive meaningful change in schools, communities, institutions, and policy at every level.

Counselor Education

The University of Florida’s Counselor Education program prepares future counselors, educators, researchers, and leaders to make a meaningful impact in schools, mental health settings, and communities.

Educational Leadership and Policy

From practice and leadership to research and policy, the Educational Leadership and Policy program at the University of Florida prepares leaders to shape the future of K-12 education and researchers to inform policy and practice.

Research and Evaluation Methodology

Students pursuing REM degrees develop skills in data analysis, statistics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) research, psychometrics, computational psychometrics, program evaluation, educational research design and evaluation assessment.
