Teacher Apprenticeship Information Session

On February 10, 2023, in partnership with the Florida Department of Education, Division of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, the University of Florida College of Education hosted an information session on teaching apprenticeships. Speakers included David Donaldson, the Founder of the National Center for Grow Your Own; and Kathleen Taylor, Bureau Chief, Florida DOE. Participants included a wide range of stakeholders representing school districts, higher education, career and technical education, and policy makers. At the conclusion of the meeting, participants were invited to submit questions and comments to be shared with the Department of Education.
