The Gainesville Sun ran a story after Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman surprised everyone — even UF officials — when he dropped in at UF’s commencement on Saturday, Dec. 20. But no one was more surprised than his granddaughter, Alexis Freeman, who was graduating with her master’s degree from the College of Education.
