Excellence in Research

UF’s College of Education faculty and graduate students pursue vital, interdisciplinary research that impacts teaching and learning, education policy, and leadership in all education disciplines across the state, nation, and world.

By partnering with multiple stakeholders, education faculty engage in novel scholarship and research activities that enhance “whole school” improvement, human development, student achievement, early-childhood readiness, assessment and program evaluation, teacher preparation and retention, and classroom technology advances.

UF Research Foundation Professorship

The UF Research Foundation (UFRF) Professorship is a prestigious award presented to UF faculty members who have a distinguished record of excellence in research and a strong research agenda likely to lead to continuing distinction in their fields. Since the inception of the UFRF Professorship in 1996-1997, 17 College of Education faculty members have received the award.
