Admission Requirements

Effective for applicants to Fall of 2020 and forward, the GRE is no longer a requirement for admission to our MAE, M.Ed. and Ed.S. programs.

The Educational Technology program adheres to the admission guidelines set by our home department, the School of Teaching and Learning. Please refer to: Admission Guidelines for all Degrees and Certificates.

You will be asked to submit transcripts, a purpose statement (i.e. why you want to enroll in the UF Ed Tech program and how it will help you reach your professional goals) and 3 letters of recommendation. PhD applicants also submit a writing sample.
Please note UF requires that all applicants to graduate programs have at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
Special Instructions for Online Degrees: When completing the application, please use the following information in the “Primary Program” section:
