Paid positions are available to students enrolled at the University of Florida who are eligible to receive Federal Work Study as a form of financial aid. No experience is required. Hourly wages begin at $10 an hour and can be adjusted depending on level of experience. New and returning tutors must complete paid training sessions prior to placement at tutoring sites. Tutors must be able to provide their own transportation.
A schedule that allows individuals to work at least two days per week (Monday through Friday) for three hours each day between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM is required. We also request that individuals commit to at least one semester of work.
Individuals interested in applying to become a tutor :
1. Must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
2. Must receive Financial Aid/Federal Work Study
3. Must maintain course credits required to continue to receive work study
