We have provided dozens of one- and two-day Tools for Getting Along implementation workshops that focused on the effective & efficient use of the Tools for Getting Along curriculum to teach anger management and social problem solving to upper elementary students.
We can offer a one- or two-day day workshop to assist teachers and district personnel who want to implement Tools for Getting Along in their classroom/school. In the workshop we:
- Provide rationale & techniques for teaching problem solving,
- Teach teachers how to use cognitive modeling,
- Teach effective and efficient use of the Tools For Getting Along curriculum, and
- Provide strategies to help students generalize learned behaviors.
Our research team can also provide one or two day workshops on:
- Effective and efficient school-wide use of our Working Together to Resolve Conflict curriculum
- A train-the-trainer model using Working Together to Resolve Conflict: Peer Mediation Training Manual for teachers and/or other school personnel
- Effective & efficient use of Tools for Getting Along: Teaching Students to Problem Solve curriculum to teach anger management and social problem solving to upper elementary students
- Effective & efficient use of Take CHARGE!: An anger management curriculum to teach anger management and social problem solving to middle/jr. high school students
We can provide consultative services to school or district personnel who want to establish new programs or examine, expand, or recreate existing programs.
