The LSA Committee had reviewed nomination packets for the following awards this year:
COE Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Professional Practice
COE Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Research
COE Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Leadership
COE Outstanding Graduate Award for Professional Practice
COE Outstanding Graduate Award for Research
COE Outstanding Graduate Award for Leadership
COE Graduate Faculty Teaching Award
COE Doctoral Dissertation Advisor/Mentoring Award
Our work is completed for the year.
Future Agenda:
- The Committee members voted to adhere to the existing criteria for awards this year, but feel a review of criteria for awards should be on the agenda of the first meeting for next calendar year.
- Some Committee members have expressed a desire to look into the process of nomination and consider ways to promote greater participation in the nomination process by COE faculty and COE students.
