Incoming International Students
International students (graduate and undergraduate) should apply for admission to the College of Education via the regular UF admission process and specifying the program or area of study.

Advice to Prospective International Graduate Students
Stephanie He Huang – International Student
My name is He Huang, and I am a Chinese doctoral student in the ESOL/Bilingual Education Program. I chose to study at the University of Florida because UF is a comprehensive university that offers a wide range of courses and has a balance between teaching and research. After two years of study at UF, I was so motivated by my learning experiences in the College of Education and the professors that I decided to continue my studies in the Ph.D. program.
我的名字叫黄鹤， 一位来自中国的博士生，我的专业是双语教育。 我选择来到佛罗里达大学因为这是一个综合类的大学， 她不仅能提供各种各样的课程，并且在教学和研究方面都有侧重。经过两年的学习后， 在教育学院的学习经历和教授都使我受益良多。所以，我又选择在佛罗里达大学攻读博士学位。
The professors at the College of Education are very professional and supportive. They choose important reading materials for students to develop understanding about the field and create a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and respects different opinions. I am very grateful for all the learning experience at the College of Education. It has challenged me, but more importantly, it has helped me grow academically and personally.

My advice to international students who come from a different culture is to communicate with your professors through emails or meetings. And remember to follow your dreams, your passion, and your beliefs.
