June 15, 2022 | Priority Application Deadline. *Applications will continue to be accepted and reviewed after the priority deadline. |
July 1, 2022 | Applications received prior to priority deadline notified. *Applications received after the priority deadline will be reviewed and notified on a rolling basis. |
September 17-18, 2022 | Kickoff of Project and Fall Institute |
Eligibility
The RIEL Biology Project is open to high school biology teachers in Alachua, Collier, and Hillsborough counties. We are specifically looking to work with teachers whose course ends with the Biology EOC, and who work directly with emergent bilingual students (English language learners), which includes both students who receive ESOL services/classes, as well as those students who speak (an)other language(s) at home but are not receiving ESOL services/classes.
