Description: In an effort to help inform future planning and decision-making, the College of Education and Lastinger Center for Learning are partnering to launch a COVID-19 Virtual Listening Tour to gather information and analyze what worked successfully in education programs’ transition to distance learning throughout Florida. Information will be collected through surveys, publicly released articles and data, and videoconference/phone interviews with education stakeholders. The data will then be used to develop several briefs and a final report for release in fall 2020.
Since we are aiming to conduct 100+ interviews over the next few weeks, we are seeking additional volunteers to assist with transcript cleaning. We will be using a transcription service, but anticipate needing support with the cleaning process.
How to Apply: If you are interested and able to assist with transcript cleaning, please send the following information to Ali Jones at Ali.Jones@coe.ufl.edu:
- First and Last Name
- Current Role (Graduate Student, Doctoral Candidate, etc.)
- Number of hours per week you could dedicate to this project from now through the end of June
- Best Email Address
- Indicate whether or not you have prior experience with transcript cleaning
- Indicate if you are fluent in any languages other than English
