UF Racial Justice Initiative Research
As part of UF’s Racial Justice Initiative, the Center for African Studies is carrying out research on Black student experiences at UF. We started this conversation with the Black @ UF program in the Fall and are now moving forward to impact campus policy. We are collecting personal narratives – aka ‘stories’ – from Black students from across campus – graduate and undergraduate and from all ethnic/cultural/intersectional identities. Students can also opt to archive their narratives at UF’s Samuel Proctor Oral History Center. All stories will remain anonymous unless you indicate otherwise. Findings will be used to inform UF policy.
To sign up, click here: https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0eQ3RtawiXVU982. You can self-record your narrative on your phone or zoom or make an appointment to record at College of Journalism, CAS or the Oral History Center. click here or email rji@africa.ufl.edu
