The University of Florida and the College of Education will host the Southern History of Education Society’s annual conference at the Holiday Inn—Hotel University conference center from Friday, March 23 through Saturday, March 24.
Leading scholars and graduate students from both the Southeast and beyond are gathering to exchange insights gained from original historical investigations of enduring educational problems. Some of the diverse issues will include discussion of: campus life & leadership; youth and childhood; and color on the campus: racial conflict in higher education. The entire campus and local community is welcome; registration is available on site and free of charge.
