BCLS Presents | Let’s Talk About: What is the “American Identity”?

April 6, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

The Brown Center for Leadership & Service invites you to… Let’s Talk About: What is the “American Identity”?

This program will be hosted on Zoom on Tuesday, April 6thfrom 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Please Register Now!

Why Find Time to Attend? In an increasingly connected and diverse world, the art of conversation and civil discourse is vital. Join us as we explore how to tackle these difficult conversations across difference. What does it mean fit in the “American Identity”? How do understandings of race, geographic region, nationality, class, and generation influence this identity?

Become part of an engaging discussion between students, faculty members & a Florida state representative, Anna Eskamani, whose perspectives span definitions of the “American Identity. We will then come together in guided small group discussions about our own narratives and what this means for our UF community.
