applications due for Collegiate Challenge Trip organized by UF Habitat

February 10, 2019

Collegiate Challenge is an alternative Spring Break trip organized and facilitated by several Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the United States. UF Habitat has organized numerous trips over the last ten years and we will have three more this coming Spring Break, March 3-9!

During Collegiate Challenge, groups of UF volunteers travel across the Southeast to live and work with a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Volunteers live as a group in housing provided by the affiliate and build at project sites throughout the week. Work hours vary but always leave time for exploring and visiting the surrounding areas.

The 2019 Collegiate Challenge trips will be to the following Habitat for Humanity affiliates:

~ Bayou Area Habitat for Humanity in Thibodaux, Louisiana – $225
~ Forsyth County Habitat for Humanity in Winston-Salem, North Carolina- $250
~ Union-Anson County Habitat for Humanity in Monroe, North Carolina- $225

The majority of this money is a donation to the Habitat affiliate you will be assisting on your trip. It covers your housing, gas, breakfast, lunch throughout the week, as well as some dinners. This registration fee is your commitment to attending this trip.

Applications are due FEBRUARY 10TH (Sunday).
