Join us for a discussion with the former publisher of the Miami Herald, David Lawrence Jr., about his new book “A Dedicated Life: Journalism, Justice and a Chance for Every Child.”

In 1999, Lawrence retired as publisher of the Miami Herald to work in the area of early childhood development and readiness. Along with leading The Children’s Movement of Florida, aimed at making children the state’s top priority for investment, he also supports the David Lawrence Jr. Endowed Chair in Early Childhood Studies at UF’s College of Education.
