Fulbright Film and Lecture/Luncheon

November 15, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - November 16, 2021 @ 12:00 pm

Please joins us for a two-day event with Rebecca Cammisa, Fulbrighter and award-winning filmmaker. Cammisa will be speaking about her Oscar-nominated and Emmy award-winning film documentary, Which Way Home. In this gripping documentary, a group of young, unaccompanied Central American children struggle to make their way through Mexico, to ultimately reach the United States and jump the border to a new home. Director Rebecca Cammisa follows the struggles of these would-be undocumented aliens as they battle poverty, dangerous train rides and potential predators, keeping their sights set on the possibility of a better life that awaits in a new country.

  • The screening will take place at the Reitz Union Auditorium (Second Floor) on Monday, November 15 at noon. Refreshments will be served.
  • The live (virtual) lecture and Q&A with Rebecca Cammisa will be held at Reitz Union Room 2355 on Tuesday, November 16 at noon. Lunch will be available to those who RSVP!
