Spring 2018 Professional Development Series

Join us for our first workshop:  Awesome Scholarly Information Search: Finding What You Need in the Library and on the Web

Virtually all scholarly projects begin with an information search. Since scholarly work builds upon previously published sources, finding these prior sources is a crucial academic skill. This workshop will show you how. It outlines the key dimensions of scholarly information search, discusses major search tools, and provides a set of effective, efficient strategies for finding key types of scholarly sources in the UF Libraries and on the internet.

Presenter: David Schwieder, Ph.D., UF Libraries Liaison and Affiliate Faculty, Department of Political Science

Date and Time: February 27, 2018, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: McKnight Brain Institute DeWeese Auditorium (LG101-A)
