Student Alliance of Graduates in Education (SAGE)
The Student Alliance of Graduates in Education (SAGE) is made up of masters and doctoral students across the many departments in the College of Education at the University of Florida. We have come together for many reasons, some of which include to:
- Create a cross-departmental graduate student group forum in the College of Education to better communicate graduate student needs;
- Develop access to decision-making processes affecting graduate students within the College of Education and the University of Florida;
- Aid teaching assistants with the development of pedagogical skills through open workshops;
- Serve as an academic, professional, and social support group for Education graduate students; and
- Promote and enrich the academic and educational objectives of the graduate students in the College of Education by funding and sponsoring programs applicable to intellectual, educational, and cultural interests.
