Fall Registration
Have you registered for fall? It is important to register now – to claim a spot in the course you want and to avoid courses being canceled due to insufficient enrollments. A reminder to undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students – please be sure your fall registration is complete.


SAGE Summer Social
Student Alliance of Graduate Students in Education (SAGE) invites all COE students to a summer social at Lake Wauburg on Saturday, July 22, from 11:00am–2:00pm. Event details here. FREE GRE WORKSHOP 
The UF Teaching Center offers this workshop Monday through Thursday, July 10-13, from 5-7 p.m. each day. The Verbal sessions are Monday  & Wednesday, and the Math sessions are Tuesday and Thursday.  You can register for just the math sessions, just the verbal sessions, or all four.  Go to www.teachingcenter.ufl.edu, then “study skills” then “workshops” to register and learn the workshop location.

Professor Seeks Research Assistant
Seeking research assistant to assist professor in quantitative analysis, managing and developing surveys, manuscript development, literature searches, and willingness to learn how to conduct qualitative analysis and related duties. Temporary Coordinator, Upward Bound Program
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is seeking a highly qualified leader/manager to fill a Temporary Coordinator position. The Temporary Upward Bound Coordinator oversees the programmatic and operational management of the intensive 6-week STEM focused summer and is responsible for the success of the summer program. Math and Science Teaching Positions Available (Crawfordville, Florida)
Wakulla High School has two attractive math and science positions available. We are located in the Panhandle, a half-hour south of Tallahassee and are one of the eleven “A” school districts in Florida this year.  The math position consists of pre-calculus and algebra 2 honors; the science position includes Advanced Placement environmental science and regular environmental science classes.

Nursery Coordinator/Attendant
Evinston United Methodist Church is located in Evinston, FL, a small community less than 15 miles south of the University of Florida. Evinston UMC is a small family based church. Our Sunday attendance averages about 75 people. Our nursery consists of children from infant to kindergarten ages. We may have as few as 1 or as many as 10 children in the nursery on any given week (we always have youth willing to help if the number of children is too large for 1 person to supervise). PACE 2017 Fall Internship – deadline July 14, 2017
The PACE Center for Girls is offering an Internship Program and are accepting applications from now until July 14, 2017 for Fall positions. We accept students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree. We also accept recent graduates (maximum one year after graduation). PACE internships are unpaid and require a minimum of 12 hours/week. Skype interviews are also available for those not currently in the area. International Internship Opportunity in Palestine- Fall 2017
Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO) is an American nonprofit working with disadvantaged children and women in the Middle East and we are recruiting International Interns! The application deadline is July 15th, 2017.

This internship, based in the West Bank city of Nablus, is a terrific opportunity for students and recent graduates from the University of Florida to gain international personal and professional experience.  More information about the program can be found here.

NANNY/BABYSITTER NEEDED
Seeking an enthusiatic and responsible caregiver for my 14 year old son and 8 year old daughter starting Fall 2017 (August 2017). We live in SW part of town near Haile. Requirements: Safe driving record, good references, non-smoker, and reliable car. Duties: Include pickup from school, helping with homework, driving kids to activities, supervise outdoor play, help with minor chores such as kids laundry. Hours for Fall 2017: 2.40PM-5.30 PM (+/- 30 mins), Monday through Friday (approx. 12 hrs per week). If sitter’s availability is only for part of the week will still consider those applications as I am willing to consider splitting the week between two sitters.

Gainesville family seeks help with three children: 7-year-old son and twin 2-year-old daughters. Responsibilities include picking son up from school at 4pm daily, transporting home, and assisting with general evening routine – meals, lunch preparation, etc. – until approximately 7pm.
