Title: [REMOTE] International Mentoring Association Marketing Intern

Pay rate: None; However, you may attend the International Mentoring Association Conference in Gainesvile for free (Feb. 21 – 23, 2021), and a letter of reference on your work will be provided to any future employer.
Hours: 10 hours per week maximum; most weeks, 2- 5 hours; all flexible. Benefits to the intern: International marketing experience, networking, resource acquisition, public relation experience, website management experience, communication skill building, social media oversight.
Description: The International Mentoring Association is a resource network for mentoring excellence. The mission of the IMA is to provide networking opportunities and share practices and research for the accreditation of mentoring programs and the development of mentoring relationships. The IMA is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student who will work remotely and assist with various marketing, public relations, and social media projects. The student will work closely with the IMA Executive Board of Directors to determine necessary tasks and timelines for completion. Complete knowledge of programs is not necessary; however, we are especially in need of someone who knows how to edit a webpage using WordPress. A general marketing technological aptitude and willingness to learn is preferred. General duties may include:
- Creation and posting of social media announcements (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
- Creation of press releases (when/if necessary)
- Website management within WordPress
- Creation of emails with Constant Contact
- Possible video editing within Youtube
- Webinar assistance
