Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF)
Description: The Teaching Assistant Program in France offers you the opportunity to work in France for 7 months, teaching English to French students of all ages. Each year, over 1,500 American citizens and permanent residents teach in public schools across all regions of metropolitan France and in the overseas departments of France such as French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion. The American cohort is part of the larger Assistants de langue en France program, which recruits approximately 4,500 young educators from 60 countries to teach 15 languages annually in France. The Assistants de langue en France program is managed by France Éducation international. Teaching Assistants are primarily recent graduates; however, we accept applications from candidates between the ages of 20 and 35.

UF Focus Group Study on Student Mental Health
Description: Julia Graber, Professor and Chair of the Psychology Department, and Sarah Lynne, Associate Professor in the Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences at the University of Florida are recruiting participants for their study on eliminating barriers to mental health well-being for college students’ success. The purpose of this research study is to assess student perceptions of mental health support and resources here at the University of Florida. Each participant will receive a $60 gift card after completion of the study, and if any follow-ups take place, folks will receive an additional $15 for a total of $75. We are reaching out to students from diverse subsets of the University of Florida student population, including BIPOC students, LGBTQ students, international students, graduate students, students with disabilities, first generation students, and students without strong social ties to peers.

Virtual Student Fellowship
Description: The Office of Miami-Dade County School Board Member Luisa Santos (District 9) has a unique virtual fellowship that brings together young people and provides them with hands-on experiences. Through a 6-month, 10 hour per week commitment, fellows engage and collaborate with their peers through virtual meetings and tackle office projects.
Examples of projects include conducting research on state and federal legislation, drafting policy proposals, relational organizing with constituents, event planning, and digital media creation and management. In return, we provide our fellows with professional development sessions, social activities, and Q&As with local leaders. Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program
Description: The Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program Collaborative is a two-year conservation training program for undergraduates who are interested in careers in conservation and in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field. Scholars take part in applied field research projects (1st Summer – 2021), professional internships (2nd Summer – 2022), mentoring, and form strong professional networks that span the country (and beyond). Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowships
Description: The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program provides opportunities for doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. The program is designed to deepen research knowledge and increase the study of modern foreign languages, cultural engagement, and area studies not generally included in U.S. curricula.
Program Features: Students may request funding to support overseas research for a period of no less than six months and no more than 12 months. Funds support travel expenses to and from the residence of the fellow and the country or countries of research; maintenance and dependent allowances based on the location of research for the fellow and his or her dependent(s); an allowance for research-related expenses overseas; and health and accident insurance premiums. Projects may focus on one or more of the following geographic areas: Africa, East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, South Asia, the Near East, Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia, and the Western Hemisphere (excluding the United States and its territories).

UF IFAS Summer Internship with Cedar Key School K-12 Education
Description: This internship is intended to give undergraduate students at UF an opportunity for real-world experience in education and/or extension activities. Camp Laurel South Summer Camp
About Camp Laurel South: Camp Laurel South is located near Portland, Maine in the heart of the Sebago Lakes Region. Its 150 unspoiled acres include woodlands, sports fields and open lawns. It’s location in the southern part of Maine makes Laurel South a most inviting summer retreat for campers and counselors alike. Each summer, Laurel South operates two four-week programs with 400 boys and girls, ages 7 to 15 in each session. They come from all over the U.S. as well as several foreign countries. The return rate for both campers and staff is very high.
Description: Camp Laurel South is a residential summer camp in Maine seeking college athletes to be activity instructors and camp counselors for the summer of 2021. This is a great summer experience that can fulfill many internship requirements. We look for people with personality, character, maturity, professional training, experience and most importantly, a sincere desire to work with children. Our counselor to camper ratio is better than 1:3.
