UF’s Interface 2018 — Student Voices Transform Teaching

April 19, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

The University of Florida Interface conference is a one day event held annually to recognize innovative faculty, provide a forum for professors to share their work with other disciplines, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations on future projects.
The theme is “Student Voices Transform Teaching.” Each session will include games or other workshop-type activities. Students will be an important part each session as co-presenters and participants, so we will hear their thoughts and ideas. What they think may surprise us!
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Mindy Maris, Associate Provost for Student Success, and Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, and an Associate Professor of Biology at Southern Vermont College. Dr. Maris is also a facilitator for Ken Bain’s Best Teacher Institute. Dr. Maris will lead a workshop on gathering and using student feedback.
