The   teacher only uses email to communicate with parents at the beginning of the year.

The teacher has an overhead of the blank worksheet the students will do.

Lessons are delivered in lecture format with no visual aids.

There   is no technology used to store lessons, resources, etc., for the students to   access and review.

Students send the teacher a voice thread to share their response to the reading assignment.

Students record “book reviews” to a class file for peer review.

After using the reading site, students print their results for the lesson and put it in the “Finished Work” bin.

The teacher displays the worksheet on the Smart Board to review the assignment.

 

 

The   teacher says, “This is the information we are going to study… use your clicker to vote whether you think the information is true or false.

The teacher says, “Review the list of sites about dolphins and write the five most important things that contribute to dolphins’ ability to live successfully in the gulfstream.”

The teacher shows a you tube about “The Great Zambini” when reading the book “Marietta   on the High Wire.”

A student is making a crossword puzzle to share definitions from the unit using a list of puzzle websites the teacher provided the class.

The teacher shows a video clip (from “United Streaming”)about the physics of   roller coasters.

The teacher reminds students to share their idea for the name of the class pet on the class wiki.

The teacher refers the class to the poll results from their “clicker” responses.

When the students unexpectedly ask where Alaska is, the teacher pulls up a Google map on   the Smart Board to show them where it is.

The teacher uses the document camera to share the blank worksheet at the   beginning of the lesson and the completed one at the end of the work time.

The teacher has the directions displayed on the Smart Board for continual access during the assignment.

Students are called to the Smart Board to move the animals to their appropriate   habitat.
