The Jacksonville Children’s Commission (JCC) funds program providers throughout the city of Jacksonville, Florida to promote children’s well being. Funds are invested in four areas: (1) stable, nurturing families, (2) preparation to enter kindergarten, (3) support during out-of-school time, and (4) extra help when needed. CAPES has been working with JCC since 2008 to provide an effective model to evaluate their programs. We are also planning an evaluation for their new project, the New Town Success Zone, and assessing JCC’s overall reporting system.
