Montana Sewell is the recipient of the Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) International Honor Society Outstanding Entry Level Student Award. She is a M.Ed./Ed.S student in the school counseling program at the University of Florida.

Ms. Sewell has demonstrated excellence in her service to the counseling profession through her involvement with CSI Beta chapter. Her leadership to the chapter has included serving as the co-chair of the membership/ social committee, secretary, and member of the professional development committee and the communications committee. In these roles, she has lead committee meetings and participated in leadership meetings.

Montana was also involved in planning the Florida Conference of the Social Sciences, and assisted with the UF Social Justice Summit. Furthermore, Montana has shown her strengths and passion in school counseling, particularly supporting, empowering, and advocating for students.
