Special Education Doctoral Alum Recipient of The OUTA Award

University of Florida’s Special Education Alum, Dr. David Hoppey, has been named one of the recipients of the Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award (OUTA) at the University of South Florida where he is currently an assistant professor.

Dr. Hoppey acknowledges the support and collaboration of colleagues in the COEDU and in the local schools, and emphasizes the importance of linking coursework with “real life” through clinical experiences, and of faculty modeling effective strategies, as keys to student success.
