SESPECS PhD Student Invited to Join National Scholar Cohort

Special Education PhD student, Maggie Bethea, was invited to join the 18th cohort of the Council for Exceptional Children’s Division for Research Doctoral Student Scholars (DRDSS). Outstanding student scholars are selected through an internationally competitive process. As part of the cohort, Maggie will engage in a series of seminars led by leading scholars within the field of special education. She and other members of the 2025-2026 cohort will be honored at the Annual Meeting of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) in March 2026.
