Requirement for All New Students, Including Graduate & Professional students – CampusClarity “Think About It” Please be aware that starting July 1, the University of Florida requires completion of the Campus Clarity “Think About It” online training course for all new students. The course addresses the interconnection between drug and alcohol abuse, hookup culture, and sexual violence, and encourages students to reflect critically on the personal beliefs, social norms, and cultural pressures that enable high-risk behaviors.
This mandatory program will replace the “eCheckup” requirement that was previously required of all new undergraduate students. The new, “Think About It” course is mandatory for all new undergraduate, graduate and professional UF students, both online and traditional. The mandate is in accordance with the Campus SaVE Act which will go into effect this year. Graduate and professional students will have a hold placed on their record which will be lifted when the course is completed. Students will not be able to register for Spring 2016 courses until the hold is lifted. More information about the “Think About It” requirement and course is available at: https://www.dso.ufl.edu/nsfp/first-year-experience/campus-clarity-think-about-it-module/
