Congratulations to Walter Leite, professor of research and evaluation methodology, for being selected as the 2018 Educational Researcher of the Year by the Florida Educational Research Association (FERA).

This award, according to FERA, “recognizes persons who have made recent outstanding and sustained contributions to educational research.”

“This is the most distinguished award an educational researcher can receive from FERA,” said Albert Ritzhaupt, associate professor of educational technology and FERA past-president, “We are proud to recognize Dr. Leite’s important work in the field.”
Leite was honored 63rd Annual Meeting of the Florida Educational Research Association in St. Petersburg, in November 2018.
