Learn How to Showcase Your Growth
As part of the job-embedded element of this program, you will be creating a portfolio providing evidence of your growth in the TLSI program goals.
In your online orientation you will learn all about the portfolio, and each course will guide you toward completion of artifacts that will be used at the end of your program to demonstrate your growth as a master teacher, teacher leader, and teacher researcher.
In the final semester of the program, you will take a practicum course where you will work with a portfolio coach to assemble all the written parts of your portfolio. Students seeking an Ed.S. degree will take Supervised Research in place of the practicum during the graduation semester because Specialist Portfolios require more research and more writing.
