Jan Gay, doctoral student was selected for the 2020-2021 Counselor Education and Supervision Journal Fellowship Program. The program is designed to provide mentorship to help fellows further develop their skills as scholars.
Jan Gay and Zachary McNiece received a $300 research grant from Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ). The funds will support their research study titled, “International Student Support: Implications for Counselor Education Programming.”
Mercy Machado, counselor education doctoral student, was awarded the UF College of Education Outstanding Graduate of Professional Practice. Mercy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has worked with children and their families in various clinical settings.

Melissa Forgione, graduate of the UF Counselor Education Program, was named the 2019-2020 Undergraduate Professional Advisor of the Year. Melissa works as the Assistant Director for Academic and Career Advising for the University of Florida Warrington College of Business.
