Software Install Policy

Before we can install any software on a COE-Managed devices, we need to ensure that the software has gone through the Risk Review process. UF has a pre-assessed list of software that can be found on Fast Path Solutions (FPS). If you are working with non-restricted data, you may use FPS without additional review by UF administrative, compliance, and risk management offices.

If the software you asked for is not listed on FPS, a software Risk review will be necessary.  You can submit a Risk review on this webpage. This webpage is only accessible when in UF network or when connected to the UF VPN.
