UF Gatorlink ID
A GatorLink ID is your primary computing identity and provides access to many UF computing resources, including email, UF cloud services, Zoom, Canvas, VPN, and my.ufl.edu. Typically, you create a GatorLink ID immediately upon joining the University. GatorLink ID’s are often a primary email address, in the form of username@ufl.edu, for UF constituents.
Like many things you will encounter at UF, your GatorLink ID has significant policies and responsibilities. Your GatorLink identity is exclusively tied to you. GatorLink password information should not be given to other individuals (not even to COE IT Staff). Per UF’s Policy for use of GatorLink Services, users are responsible for all activities associated with their GatorLink user name.
To create a Gatorlink username, your Human Resources representative will email you a link to establish a UF Gatorlink account.
If you encounter difficulties creating or using your GatorLink ID, visit https://account.it.ufl.edu/ for self-help. If unable to resolve, Gatorlinnk IDs are managed by the central UF Computing Help Desk and you will need to call them at 392-HELP or via email: helpdesk@ufl.edu.
