I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from UF and currently work as a third grade teacher and team leader at Swimming Pen.

Creek Elementary in Clay County. Before this role, I taught third grade at Williston Elementary School in Levy County for five years and was the tutoring program coordinator. I’ve also worked as a Migrant Education Program Teacher and Advocate and started my first year of teaching as a Gifted teacher, both of these in Alachua County.

I have certifications as a Clinical Educator, SUMS Science and Math instructor and Writers in Control instructor. I’m certified to teach Elementary K-6, am ESOL endorsed and ESE certified.

I enjoy the flexibility of the M.Ed. online program and participating in ongoing quality conversations with cohort members through the discussion forums. After completing the Educational Leadership degree and obtaining a job as an elementary school leader, I plan to focus on strengthening parent and community involvement in my school and providing continuous quality professional growth opportunities for my teachers.
